- Summary
- Oliver is an orphan who escapes the cheerless life of the workhouse and takes to the streets of 19th Century London to seek his fortune. Taken in by a band of street urchins, Oliver's new friends include the lovable villain Fagan, his fiendish henchman Bill Sikes, and the loyal apprentice The Artful Dodger who all teach him to "Pick a pocket or two."
