Part II is a resource for parents and teachers to explain the financial messages in Meganâs story to younger readers. It includes questions about Meganâs storyand also suggests interactive activities to help children to develop a deeper understanding of the financial concepts introduced in the story. Megan and the Money Tree is a simple guide to financial concepts for children aged five to eight; teaches children about the difference between needs and wants, the importance of saving and the risks involved in financial decisions; and recognises the importance of financial literacy as a key life skill.
