Summary
Crime writer Adam finds the peace he needs to finish his latest novel in a remote stately home in Carwyn Bay, Wales - at least until effervescent, disaster-prone Ruby arrives to run the tourist cafe while also pursuing a secret plan to uncover her grandfather's past. Through baking disasters and shocking revelations, they find themselves falling in love. But Ruby is saddened by what she learns about her grandfather, and plans to go home to America at the end of the summer. Will their relationship be strong enough to last?
