Summary
On October 28th 1834 the Western Australian Governor, Stirling, took a party of surveyors, police and soldiers to the location of what was to become the town of Pinjarra in WA. A skirmish between this group and a local native tribe has been referred to as 'the battle of Pinjarra'. This book is mainly the first hand archival work by the author A.R. (Don) Pashley of this event as recorded by those present with some comment by local historians
