Things That Matter

resource.description
Things That Matter allows you to identify and examine the obstacles that prevent you from your best life and equips you to instead live a life of intention and fulfillment.   Each insightful chapter is filled with stories and studies and societal observations. Together they provide an invitation to learn which distractions are sidetracking you and—better yet—how to conquer them. Some on the list are expected, yet some are countercultural:   •  fear—things that keep you from reaching your dreams   •  past mistakes—guilt and shame from days gone by   •  happiness—the pursuit of selfish desires   •  money—holding on to resources    •  possessions—the stuff you own   •  applause—the accolades and approval of others   •  leisure—weekends, vacations, and retirement   •  technology—social media, information, and entertainment   Make the most of the one life you've been given. Align your pursuits with your priorities. And then, by living with intention, you’ll be able look back and say you’ve done something to make the world a better place than it was when you came into it.    You'll know your life mattered.
