With no specific threat identified, it should be just the ticket for Connor's rest and recuperation. But when the country's government is toppled in a surprise military coup, Connor and his assigned family find themselves in the middle of a civil war. Ambushed by gunmen, their safari convoy is attacked and the family taken hostage. In the ensuing panic, Connor manages to escape with the diplomat's daughter, Amber, and her little brother, Josh. Fleeing through the bush, they become the prey in a shoot-to-kill hunt across the African plains. As they fight for their survival, Connor realises the gunmen are the least of their problems.
