Summary
Raised by his Japanese mother in Brooklyn, Ichiro idolises his American father, killed in combat before he ever knew him. Already struggling to fit in, Ichiro is less than thrilled to accompany his mother on a work trip to Japan, where he is left with with his grandfather, a stranger to him in a country he doesn't know. But Japan isn't what Ichiro imagined. One night, Ichiro is dragged down a hole by a shape-shifting monster. When he wakes up, Ichiro minds himself a fugitive in the domain of the gods, draw into an age-old feud between them.
